John Ward

We're here to help you with any progressions you want to take on.  Be stronger, improve aerobic fitness, gain better muscle tone, change body composition, rehabilitate on injury, improve for a specific sport or run a marathon.

I am also trained in nutrition by a company called Precision Nutrition and can help you with your eating pattern.  Good eating is the cornerstone of almost all the outcomes described above. 

I have been a Personal Trainer since 1996.  My main sport for the last few years has been Triathlon and I have competed in a large number of races in many locations.  I have finished 3 ironman Triathlons.  I look forward to helping you.


Ashley Smith

I have been an active member of Invigr8 since 2011.  As a member I have become to know a lot of faces of Invigr8.  I was excited when the opportunity arised to work for the team.  You will see me on reception and in the crèche.  Please feel free to approach me in the club and say hi!  Happy to assist I in any way I can.

Remedial Massage


I came to Australia in 2012 from New Zealand, having been a previous director of a Rehabilitation and Sports Massage Clinic. I have been in the industry for over 15years and I am skilled in Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy and Relaxation Massage.

My remedial massages are specific, isolating the problem area’s with techniques that throughly release tightness and restriction to relieve pain. I specialise in sports rehabilitation, chronic pain, migraines and headaches, lower back and neck pain. 

Whether you prefer massages to be gentle and light, or you are needing a therapist who has the ability to go strong enough, my massages are tailored to your specific needs and your preferred level of pressure.

My passion for fitness and healthy living has always played a big part of my life and as a mum of two I know the struggles of juggling fitness and family, but it can be done.


I first began my journey into fitness studying nutrition at QUT in 2008 and from there on I studied yoga, personal training and have other certificates in boxing and barre attack.

I have been working for Invigr8 in the Creche since 2012.  Having children of my own, I enjoy interacting with children and am passionate about the care for your young ones.  I am also actively involved in my training, so it is a great environment to be in.  I look forward to meeting any new parents and welcoming your little ones into our crèche.  I hold both my blue card & CPR qualifications.
