I have recently relocated to the Sunshine Coast and literally within hours of arriving here I signed up as a member of Invigorate Health Club. Since day one, I have really loved the club. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. So to now be part of the team, is awesome!
I have been training on my own at gyms for about ten years. Being fit & healthy is very important to me. I have already learnt so many tips from the trainers at Invigorate and look forward to furthering my knowledge and skills in the health and fitness industry.
I have a strong background in administration and customer service. I'm also first aid qualified. I believe my current skills will go a long way in my new position here at Invigorate Health Club. I look forward to meeting all the current members, so please feel free to come and say hi if I haven't had the privilege of meeting you yet. And for any new members, welcome and I hope to be your first point of call when you come into the gym!

I've been working with Invigorate since 2008. I commenced doing work experience as I completed my certificate IV in Fitness. The Fitness industry has been part of my life since I was a teenager, being active & living a healthy lifestyle is very important to me & my family.
I have since commenced employment here & have been given the privilege of experiencing all aspects of the club from working in the crèche, holding classes & doing reception. I'm currently holding the position as the Sales & Marketing Manager, which proves to be both challenging & rewarding. I love working with & meeting new people who have the same fitness aspirations as myself. I work in a great environment with an excellent Team, I couldn't ask for a better career!

One of my passions is boxing. As a young fella I was encouraged to get into sport, league, soccer, karate and judo all had my attention for a while, I got a few trophies here and there and though I was only a young guy, it bred the competitive spirit. As I got older my attraction to boxing overtook me and I started training to get a little fitter. Many years later I wanted to fight and took up the challenge to get ready and step into the ring. With only a handful of fights under my belt I have won a few, lost a couple and picked up some titles on the way.
My educational achievements are short. More of a practical sort of guy. I am a World Kettlebell Club Fitness Trainer, WKC Strength & Conditioning Coach and also a WKC Kettlebell Sport Coach. I have attained the ranks S-40 (which is in the videos section of the site) and also Rank 1 (69 reps longcycle with 2x24kg kettlebells < 10 mins). I am a Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach (ASCA) and also a Level 1 Powerlifting Coach through Powerlifting Australia.
Kettlebell training is by far the best I have found for results in fitness, fat loss and general physical improvement. It is hard but fun.
Last but not least, being a professional boxer with a great work ethic makes it easier to understand what it takes to get to the level needed for competition and also to make real changes to body composition and attitude.
I have trained fighters, surfers and a figure competitor along with normal everyday people interested in their health and well-being. People from their early twenties up to one client that was 86 years old and he was one of the most dedicated and consistent clients I have had. I have enjoyed the challenge of training the wide range of clients in my career and am excited about the sessions yet to complete, both for myself and my clients.

Those who come to the Club have one thing in common; they are some way down the track towards making a positive change to how they look after some aspect of their health and fitness. This could be a change in a number of aspects including the level of muscular strength, aerobic fitness, muscle tone, rehabilitation or fitness for everyday living. It could be a change in eating patterns and consequent weight change or it could be the pursuit of a sporting aim, or sport specific training. I will assist and encourage participants to move further along their chosen path by helping set realistic goals that will encourage motivation.
I came into the Fitness Industry as an Instructor and Personal Trainer in 1996 and although I moved down the Club Management track for a few years, I have always kept a number of Personal Training clients. My main sport for the last few years has been Triathlon and I have competed in a large number of races in various places including 2 Ironman events.
Many Club members and Personal Training clients have pre-existing injuries or niggles of some sort and need help with managing the situation so that they can remain active. I will help with this and have taken a Rehab Trainer course with a Brisbane based Physiotherapist with this in mind. I look forward to helping you.
